Our company is involved in a series of projects part of the larger program "Extension and rehabilitation of water and wastewater in Mureș county". This is the largest investment program implemented in Mureș county by the regional operator Aquaserv and financed with resources from the EU cohesion fund.
This program, upon completion, will benefit over 300.000 inhabitants of the Mureș and Harghita counties (the counties where Aquaserv operates), who will have at their disposal modern drinkable water and sewage infrastructure. The program, of 110,8 million Euro is financed through the EU Cohesion Fund through the Sectoral Operational Program - Environment, and co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Matei Construct is, until now, involved as subcontractor in three major contracts of Aquaserv's larger program:
1. Rehabilitation of the sewage plant sludge line MS-TM-YB-01-Tîrgu Mureș (22.978.010,06 lei equivalent to approximately 5.163.000 Euro VAT excluded)
2. Rehabilitation and extension of tertiary stage for waste water treatment plant Reghin MS-RG-YB-02 (28.066.726,07 lei equivalent to approximately 6.307.000 Euro VAT excluded)
3. Luduş and Iernut - Water plant rehabilitation MS-L&I-YB-06 (21.770.251,79 lei equivalent to approximately 4.892.000 Euro VAT excluded)
