Romanian delegation visits the Verona HQ of INDEX
Between July 10 and 14, 2013, a Romanian delegation headed by Matei Construct's management visited the headquarters of our supplier INDEX Construction Systems and Products SpA in Verona, Italy.
Matei Construct's guests - management representatives from Transylvania's most representative water and sewage public companies and environment engineering consultancy companies - visited the factory's production facilities, the laboratories and the research and development center.
During the visit, the guests witnessed real-time tests for stability and fluidity for a new line of special cements HPFRCC/UHPFRCC - Ultra / High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites. These cements are used in applications that require extreme compression resistance as well as flexibility, such as: wind turbines foundations, bridges, tunnels, nuclear plants parts, military bunkers etc.
The Romanian guests have had the occasion to visit the Aula Magna conference hall of the factory where they were presented the history of INDEX SpA, the main product lines and main markets, as well as the demonstrative center where they were presented practical applications with bitumen membranes and special cements.
As a sign of appreciation for the high level of representation of the delegation, the Romanian flag was placed on top of the entrance mast throughout the duration of the visit.
